About us
Sealant Specialists in ChathamWith 25+ Years on the Gun —Not a Sideline Trade
Silicone and mastic is the only thing we do. That means a joint that stays watertight, stays clean and stays put — instead of a bead you are cutting out again in eighteen months because it was somebody's last job of the day.

Our story
A specialist trade,
run by the people who do the work
Who we help
Two very different customers, held to the same standard. Homeowners, landlords and letting agents who want a bathroom, kitchen, window or external joint sealed properly and left clean. And main contractors, fit-out firms, facilities teams, schools and property managers who need a sealant package delivered inside a programme, with the paperwork already in the file.
Small jobs matter to us. A single shower reseal is worth asking about, and it gets the same preparation and the same product selection as a curtain walling elevation.
What we specialise in
Silicone sealant and mastic application, and nothing else. We cover a wide range of domestic and commercial work — from bathrooms, wet rooms and kitchens to new-build developments, commercial premises and large-scale construction projects.
Because it is all we do, we know which products work best for different applications, how to achieve a professional, long-lasting finish, and the importance of using the right preparation and application techniques.
Experience depth
More than twenty-five years of hands-on application across domestic and commercial work — occupied buildings, live sites, height access, long floor runs and heritage-era masonry. Enough time to have seen every way a joint can be got wrong.
We are CITB and CSCS accredited, carry £2 million of public liability cover, and issue RAMS on request so a main contractor can induct us without chasing documents.
Where we work
We are based at The Historic Dockyard, Chatham, and work across Kent, London and the South East — Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone, Kings Hill, Tenterden, Whitstable, Meopham, Bexley, City of London and everywhere between.
Mission & standards
Seal it once,
seal it so it lasts
Our whole philosophy is that the bead is the cheap part. What costs money is the access, the disruption and the damage when a joint fails early. So we spend our time where it actually decides the outcome: specification, preparation and tooling.
Product specified to the substrate
Trade products from Mapei, Illbruck, CT1 and Arbo, chosen for the material, the movement and the exposure — neutral-cure against stone and masonry, anti-mould in wet areas, low-modulus where a joint has to flex. The product is named on your quote so it can be checked.
Preparation before application
Old sealant cut out in full rather than overlaid, joint faces cleaned and dried, primer where the manufacturer specifies it, and backing rod fitted where the joint needs depth control. Most sealant failures are preparation failures, not product failures.
Consistency from start to finish
As an owner-run company, we take personal responsibility for every job and do not subcontract our sealant work. This allows us to maintain the same high standards, with a consistent bead width, profile and finish throughout.
Honest about what sealant can do
We do not advertise a guarantee, and we will not sell you a bead where the real problem is failed pointing, a defective tray or a movement issue. We tell you plainly what service life a detail should give in its exposure — before you commit.
On guarantees — straight answer
We do not advertise a guarantee, and we would rather say so plainly than print a promise with conditions attached. What we commit to instead: the right product for the substrate, full removal and preparation before we seal, joints sized for the movement they will see, and an honest statement of what service life the detail should give in its exposure. If sealant is not the right fix, we will tell you that too.
